A symbolic site of Italian industry was transformed, for one evening, into a space of beauty and attentive listening.
In Ivrea, on the monumental staircase of Palazzo Olivetti – a UNESCO World Heritage site – the concert “Sonata Trio Barocco – Musiche Floreali” took place, open to the public and combining music, solidarity, and cultural valorisation of the area.
Gadda is proud to have been the main sponsor of the event, supporting an initiative where industry becomes an active promoter of culture and thoughtful engagement. The concert was organised in support of the Italian Red Cross – Ivrea Committee, a vital presence for the community.
The programme featured some of the most refined pages of the Baroque repertoire, with works by Antonio Vivaldi, Johann Sebastian Bach, Arcangelo Corelli and Georg Philipp Telemann. Performed by a first-rate trio of musicians:
-
Marina Martianova, artistic violin, teacher at SFOM in Aosta
-
Polina Znamenskaya, historical harpsichordist from the Ural Conservatory
-
Luca Taccardi, viola da gamba, formerly with the RAI Orchestra
The architectural setting of the Palazzo Olivetti staircase – designed in the post-war period as part of a pioneering industrial complex – heightened the meaning of the event, hosted in a place that embodies the idea of innovation and production as a collective good.
Our sincere thanks go to the organisers, the musicians, the Red Cross, and all participants.
